Hailing from Dudley in the West Midlands, I now call South West London home with my partner and two children. My artistic journey was ignited by the chilling allure of 1970s and 1980s horror and cult films, a fascination that deepened with the mind-bending cinema of John Waters.
Music has also been a profound influence, with bands like Fugazi, Mogwai, Pavement and Sonic Youth shaping my aesthetic. I'm drawn to the raw energy of lo-fi and discordant sounds, as well as the delicate beauty of quiet moments.
After graduating from Liverpool Art School, I ventured into the world of illustration, contributing to various magazines and books. Today, my practice primarily revolves around collage and ink. However, I've recently become captivated by the tactile process of rubber stamping. With a vast collection of hand-carved stamps, I create large-scale, one-of-a-kind prints that occasionally find their way into my store.
